The projects prepared by the students of Karabük University Vocational School of Information Technologies within the scope of the Graduation Project course were presented to the visitors at the exhibition event held on June 5, 2026.

The opening of the event held at the Vocational School of Information Technologies Reading Hall was attended by Karabük University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Rakıp KARAŞ, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences Prof. Dr. İlker TÜRKER and Director of Vocational School of Information Technologies Assoc. Dr. Kürşat Mustafa KARAOĞLAN attended.

A total of 57 projects prepared by students studying in the Front-End Software Development, Game Development and Programming and Artificial Intelligence Operator programs were exhibited in the exhibition held during this period when the Vocational School of Information Technologies gave its first graduates. Students had the opportunity to share their innovative solutions and technical skills with the participants by reflecting the theoretical and practical knowledge they acquired during the training into their projects.

Within the scope of the exhibition, the projects were examined in line with the evaluation criteria determined by the jury consisting of faculty members. As a result of the evaluations, the winning projects were determined and rewarded. The projects named "Jet Tunnel" won the first prize, "Investment Portfolio" won the second prize, and "Discipline Protocol" won the third prize.

Plaques were presented to the winning project teams by the protocol members. The third prize went to the Director of the Vocational School of Information Technologies, while it was given by Assoc. Dr. Kürşat Mustafa KARAOĞLAN, the second prize was presented by Fatih ÇAPRAZ, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Karabük Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The project team that won the first prize received their awards from Karabük Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Fatih ÇAPRAZ and Karabük University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. He took it from İsmail Rakıp KARAŞ.

Vice Rector Prof.Dr. İsmail Rakıp KARAŞ met with the students at the event, congratulated the students for their successful work and stated that the exhibited projects were highly qualified in terms of associate degree level. Karaş also congratulated the academic staff who contributed to the professional development of the students for their devoted work.

The Graduation Project Exhibition, organized for the first time by the Vocational School of Information Technologies, has created an important application area that helps students share the projects they have developed with the public, actively participate in the academic evaluation process and gain professional self-confidence.

The event ended after project presentations, awarding of the winning projects and taking a group souvenir photo.
